The Broken Ground

Based on the book by Ned MacDonald comes this engaging feature documentary that explores the history of the Inverness Coal Mines. After an abundance of quality coal is discovered in a remote settlement on Cape Breton Island, wealthy foreign developers and miners arrive from across the world to extract the black gold from the depths.
